Problem Solving is What it's All About!

Being ORGANIZED is all about problem solving ahead of time.

Think about it.  If things are crazy in the morning during "getting ready for school time"  - then you need to take the time to PROBLEM SOLVE and Set up a SYSTEM to help!

  • Get your home set up for success:  prepare a "lunch foods" cupboard,  designate a landing strip where things that need to head in and out the door regularly can be kept....
  • Have your kiddos do what they can the night before to prepare for the next day:  clothes out (including BOTH shoes), lunches made, homework in backpack...
  • Get up a few minutes earlier.

Here's another example:

Dishes are  OVERWHELMING the home and YOU!
Take the time to PROBLEM SOLVE and Set up a SYSTEM to help!
  • Start the Dishwasher every night no matter what.
  • Un-load the dishwasher every morning. (or delegate it to a helper)
  • Everyone load dirty dishes all day as dishes are used.

Get Organized by starting with the MOST hectic family times.  By Problem Solving AHEAD of TIME and setting up systems to help, you can transform the crazies into calm, one step and a time!

Clearing up the Confusion

After years of getting my garden plants confused - I'm determined to label properly this year.

Here's some fun ideas:

Upcycled plate markers from HERE

Paint Stick markers from HERE

Click HERE for this sculptey craft with your kiddos
Or try this buggy sign here: Vintage Indie

This is the ONE I've chosen!
I just love these spoon markers - and I'm a little addicted to metal stamping right now!
Click HERE to buy spoon markers or HERE to make your own.

Another twist on silverware is using old forks - just  place an index card in the tines! OR use plastic knives and write with sharpie on the handle and insert with the blade down :0)

Happy Spring!
