Food Storage Friday?

Today is Food Storage Friday, but getting your family prepared doesn't always involve FOOD, (though food is MUCH more fun than what I'm going to post about today).
Being prepared also means preparing financially.

Paying off debts, Using Self-Control in Spending, and Setting Aside a Little Money brings peace and security into your life.

One step toward financial peace is knowing where you are spending your money.

I've gone thru many a budget sheet in my time and am convinced that when your just starting out the easiest way to keep track is to print out a calendar and keep it by your computer (or in your MomSpace) and write down what you spend each day.

Here's a link to download a simple 2009 calendar: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=783fa0a4f7714b754012e8015643d9c8eb81562e47343c1d

Accordian folders are great for stashing receipts so at the end of the month, you can sort what you spent into catagories and then you'll know what you've spent.

Next step: Budget your spending!

It's a NEW month: Try tracking your spending for one month!
